Mccord Tarrant is your Charleston, SC local realtor.

Born and raised in Charleston, I grew up in the historic downtown Charleston area. After graduating from Bishop England High school, I decided to get out of Charleston for a bit. I went away from the place I called home to attend college at Clemson University. After graduating from Clemson I wanted to move back to Charleston, and get started with my career. 

Although, I was not sure of what I wanted to do, I was lucky enough to find a job in the marketing department for a company that was then called Prudential Carolina Real Estate (now Carolina One Real Estate).  This was a great learning experience, and a wonderful introduction for me as I transitioned into my real estate career.  My family has been involved in the real estate business for over 50 years, and I plan to continue this tradition of real estate services. I love Charleston, and I can not think of a better place for someone to make a life for themselves.

A couple important traits that I keep in mind whenever I conduct business are empathy, and ego drive. Empathy is really understanding your client’s needs. Ego drive is the basic determination to get the job done.  I take pride in everything I do, and I am devoted to helping my clients make good decisions.  I enjoy meeting new people, and helping them with their real estate needs.  You will find that I am easy going and down to earth.
